Biography

Yusuke Kawamura is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies (GSICS), Kobe University, Japan. He earned a PhD in Political Science from the University of Durham, United Kingdom. Previously, he earned an MA in Intertiol Relations with a focus on the Middle East from the same institution. He earned an LLB from Kyoto University, Japan. His work focuses on social welfare programmes under authoritarian rule in the ME region, especially Jordan and Egypt.
