Biography

Dr Salwa Massad is a senior development and public health expert with a focus on policy development. With over 13 years of overall professional experience working on health, public health, and human resources development of leading academic, research, and community-based institutions in addition to working with public, private and civil society sectors. With a solid grounding in epidemiology, research skills, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, Dr Massad is strongly committed to improve health through research and monitoring and evaluation and evidence based policy recommendations. As a health expert, she wrote 2018 Palestine’s Human Development Report Health Outcomes section. She worked as a national, regional and international consultant in addition to her work as an assistant professor at Birzeit University.
