A post-graduate in Political Science and a Ph.D. in Development Studies (with specialisation in Political Science), Dr. Bishnu Prasad Mohapatra has about 20 years of experience in Teaching and Research in Political Science and related social science issues. Specialised in Democratic Governance, Decentralisation Policies, and Economic Development, Dr. Mohapatra is presently Assistant Professor in School of Liberal Arts, MIT-World Peace University, Pune and involved in Teaching and Research in Political Science. A recipient of Institutional Doctoral Fellowship from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi from 2013 to 2016 and Visiting Fellow from Jamstji Tata Trust, Mumbai through Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS), Hyderabad from 2012- to 2013, Dr. Mohapatra has been extensively worked in Research Studies in various parts in India.
