Biography

I have held the post of Director over five times, Chairperson once, Associate Dean of School once, have taught six MA;MPhil/Phd courses since 1988; supervised over 50 MPhil/PhD degrees; been diplomat posted in Egypt between 1999-2002; spent one year during 1985-86 at Cairo University, Egypt for Phd work; was visiting professor at St Cloud State University, Minnesota, the USA during 2010-11; have been visiting Professor in over a dozen Indian Universities; have organized over fifty national and international seminars and conferences; have been to over 50 countries to attend, participate in seminars, conferences, lectures, have evaluated career promotions in India and abroad universities; have self-authored 26 books on West Asia and North Africa and India's Foreign Policy.
