Dr. Abdalhadi Alijla
Biography

Abdalhadi Alijla is a social and political scientist. He is an Associate Researcher, and the Regional Manager of Varieties of Democracy Institute (Gothenburg University) for Gulf countries. He is the Co-Leader of Global Migration and Human Rights at Global Young Academy. He is a non-resident researcher at the Center for Arab Unity Studies in Beirut, Lebanon since April 2019. Since April 2018, he is an associate fellow at the Post-Conflict Research Center in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He served as a member of the elected Executive Committee of the Global Young Academy for 2018-2019. He was the director of the Institute for Middle East Studies, Canada (IMESC) from 2014 until June 2018. Abdalhadi has a PhD in political studies from the State university of Milan and M.A. degree in Public Policy and Governance from Zeppelin University- Friedrichshafen, Germany.
